The first album published by Zé Borges is titled (in english) "Fake Hedonism" and it was a need for exposing someof his material that had been forgotten in a dusty drawer.  Part of it is autobiographical, touching some of his turning point moments before the coronavirus pandemic and during the pandemic. Fake Hedonism reflects the normalised comfort of a familiar melancholy  where the greatest pleasure comes from  absorbing  the beauty of the simple, everyday, imperfect and  even dead things,  but always ignoring forcefully a fear of living that is constant. you can listen to the album on SoundCloud and Bandcamp.
